The Year of the Tiger is upon us. The New Zealand Post has issued its own series of stamps to celebrate the new year. The stamps feature tigers and Chinese lucky symbols, such as boat-shaped yuanbao gold bars, which symbolize prosperity. The tradition of issuing stamps with Chinese zodiac signs was started by New Zealand Post back in 1997.
