Masks are currently very popular with us due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In China, however, people have been wearing masks for a long time. An archaeological find in Sichuan province shows just how long. A golden mask was found in a historical sacrificial pit. According to experts, it is between 3200 and 4000 years old. However, nothing is known about its protection against aerosols.
