Siemens had to wait long for its first representative in the People’s Republic. Xiao Song, a universally praised manager with a wealth of international experience, is now taking the helm. It is pleasing and true that the era of foreign heads of organizations, which today consist almost exclusively of Chinese, is coming to an end.
