Two high-ranking politicians get down to business this weekend: German Finance Minister Christian Lindner and Vice Premier He Lifeng will hold a new round of financial talks on Sunday. The meeting was overdue: The previous round took place before the pandemic. The senior counterpart for Lindner also signals that China forgives his party’s visits to Taiwan and critical remarks of important female politicians for now.
