what to do when all the facts speak against one’s position in a large body? These days, China is trying to drown out the Tibetans’ accusations in the United Nations Human Rights Council. Not only a particularly large troop of official representatives, but also a whole series of compliant associations from the People’s Republic are claiming speaking time and thereby crowding out serious contributions. Yet for Tibet, cultural survival depends on the actions of the international community. Marcel Grzanna reports.
