Xu Chengguang was appointed deputy minister of transportation. Most recently, Xu hadmade a name for himself at the Ministry of Transport for his work in issuing nationally acceptedtransport permits. These permits enabled truck drivers to deliver needed food and goods despite the country’s harsh lockdowns (China.Table reported).
