Shang Xu has taken over as Director Head of Holistic New Technology at VW China. Xu previously spent three years helping to shape the automaker’s battery strategy in China. In his new position, he is responsible for the supply chain and procurement strategy of high-voltage batteries, semiconductors, raw materials, and the connectivity and infotainment fields.
