33 countries signed the founding declaration of IOMed in Hong Kong.

China does not consider itself bound by the jurisdiction of international organizations. By establishing an alternative institution, political influence is intended to override existing legal principles.

With the foundation of the International Organization for Mediation (IOMed), China has taken the next step in the development of alternative global governance structures. Its founding members include over 30 countries, mainly from Asia, Africa and Latin America. They signed the agreement in Hong Kong at the end of last week.
