Premier Li Qiang used his special speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Tuesday to unveil Chinese economic data in advance. Li revealed to the audience that the second-largest economy grew by „around 5.2 percent“ in 2023. Usually, the National Bureau of Statistics announces the data first.
