Life coaching is booming in China. The number of certified coaches in the country has jumped by more than 80 percent in the past four years – growth that is well above the international average. This is according to data from the International Coaching Federation (ICF), which works to further develop and standardize coaching as a profession. Offers to become a qualified coach have increased accordingly. On average, certified training in China costs around 100,000 RMB (around 13,200 euros). A certified coach charges an average of around 1,000 RMB (approx. 130 euros) per hour.
