The Second Plenum of the current Central Committee of the CCP in February 2023. No plenary session of the CC has been held since then – until now.

In the run-up to the important Third Plenum of the Central Committee, Chinese economists advocate more demand policy and, thus, more consumption. This is in contrast to the current policy of ever-increasing investment.

The long-awaited Third Plenum of the current 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China is just around the corner. It traditionally sets the economic policy course for the next five years.
