The court had convened on Monday to decide whether or not to release currently jailed pro-democracy media tycoon Jimmy Lai on bail. The ruling is seen as a finger-pointing move on the handling of the new security law, which allows bail only under certain conditions. However, the court did not make a decision yet. It adjourned until a later date.
