Mateusz Morawiecki will replace Giorgia Meloni as the head of the European political family ECR in mid-January.

The future leader of the national conservative party family European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR), Mateusz Morawiecki, is offering the Christian Democrats in the European Parliament closer cooperation. In an interview with Table.Briefings, the former Polish head of government and PiS politician says that this is on the condition that the EPP takes a stand against the Green Deal, illegal migration, and for a reduction in bureaucracy.

Mr. Morawiecki, you will take over from Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on Jan. 15. What would you like to change about the priorities of the political family?
