On Monday, China accused the USA of violating trade peace. According to the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, the US government has undermined the consensus in Geneva through a series of discriminatory measures.
These include warnings against the worldwide use of Huawei chips, a ban on the sale of chip design software to Chinese companies and the revocation of visas for Chinese students, which China sees as a violation of its legitimate interests. Beijing and Washington agreed in mid-May to suspend the three-digit tariffs for 90 days. Additionally, China has promised to lift retaliatory measures restricting the export of critical metals.
