Chinese government representatives wooed international business leaders at this year’s China Development Forum in Beijing over the weekend and attempted to spread confidence. They emphasized China would achieve its economic goals, including around five percent growth this year. The Forum is a platform where high-ranking government representatives meet with the CEOs of multinational companies. Over 100 attended, more than last year.
