On Wednesday in Beijing, the IMF announced new projections, predicting a growth rate of 5.0 percent for 2024 and 4.5 percent for 2025. These figures represent an increase of 0.4 percentage points from the April estimates. The IMF highlighted the strong performance in the first quarter of 2024 and the latest governmental measures. For comparison, the growth rate in 2023 was 5.2 percent.
