CO2 trading: Handling of certificates from China still unclear

How certifications from third countries like China will be dealt with under the European Union’s planned CO2 border adjustment is not yet clear, according to an EU Commission representative. „We are now trying to learn from mistakes within the EU,“ Gerassimos Thomas said Thursday during a debate on the border levy.
