Geely and Renault establish joint venture

Geely and French carmaker Renault have officially signed a joint venture agreement to create a new powertrain manufacturing company. According to the agreement, Renault will hold 50 percent and Geely will hold the remaining shares through two of its subsidiaries, Geely announced Tuesday.
