In order to expand psychiatric care, China’s National Health Commission (NHC) has announced plans to set up mental health centers across the country. Services for „key clinical specialties“ are to be established by 2027. In addition, the network for outpatient services for mental disorders and sleep disorders will be expanded this year to ensure they are available in at least one hospital in every prefecture and city.
