Poland shows interest in Chinese vaccine

Poland is considering the purchase of a corona vaccine produced in China. The issue was discussed at the request of Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in a phone call between Poland’s President Andrzej Duda and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, according to a statement from the Polish President’s Office. According to the statement, both countries agreed on further cooperation in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, in which the use of Chinese vaccines in Poland is not ruled out.
