Almost 60 percent of Chinese respondents described relations between Japan and China as either „not important“ or „relatively not important.“ The figure has also increased significantly compared to last year: In 2023, only 20 percent of respondents rated the relationship of little importance. It is also the worst figure in the 20 years the poll has been conducted, according to its organizers.
