The EU Member States have voted to largely exclude Chinese medical device manufacturers from access to public tenders in the EU. The decision by the member states in the Trade Barriers Committee was taken on Monday as part of the International Procurement Instrument (IPI) and marks the first application of the law adopted in 2022, which aims to ensure a level playing field in global public procurement.
