The Philippine Foreign Minister has once again signaled his willingness to enter into diplomatic talks with China – on the condition that these do not compromise the sovereignty of the Philippines.

Philippine Foreign Minister Enrique Manalo told Nikkei Asia that the Philippines is considering new diplomatic arrangements with China to defuse tensions in the South China Sea.
