Tiananmen commemoration in Taiwan: Hong Kong in focus

Last Saturday, about 1,000 people gathered at Freedom Square (自由廣場) in Taiwan’s capital Taipei to commemorate the victims of the Tiananmen massacre in Beijing 33 years ago. This time, the event focused on the suppression of the democracy movement in Hong Kong.
