WHO casts doubt on Beijing’s Covid-19 theory

WHO experts have expressed strong doubts about the Chinese theory on the origin of the coronavirus. Scientists Fabian Leendertz of the Robert Koch Institute and Vladimir Dedkov of the Pasteur Institute in St. Petersburg told the Financial Times it was highly unlikely that Covid-19 had come to Wuhan through frozen food. The Chinese government and state media had been spreading this theory in recent weeks.
