Xinjiang – Foreign ministers increase pressure on UN

Britain’s foreign secretary has called for a United Nations response to human rights abuses in Xinjiang. These have reached an „industrial scale,“ Dominic Raab said yesterday in a speech at the start of the spring session of the UN Human Rights Council. The UN human rights body must live up to its responsibilities in Xinjiang, Tibet and Hong Kong, Raab said. „No one can ignore the evidence anymore,“ the British foreign secretary said.
