At first glance, climate action seemed to take a hit in Sunday’s European elections. In Germany, the climate change deniers of the AfD gained significantly. The Greens are considered the biggest losers, losing 2.6 percent of the vote across Europe. Surprisingly, many young voters, who will be the most affected by the climate crisis in the long term, voted for the AfD.
