The Hamm Higher Regional Court (OLG) has announced that it will announce a decision on Saúl Luciano Lliuya’s climate lawsuit at 10 a.m. on April 14, 2025. If the court rules in favor of the plaintiff, the case will go to the next round. Only then will the Higher Regional Court be able to specifically address RWE’s possible responsibility for the melting glaciers in the Peruvian Andes and the resulting dangers.
