The Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF), led by Lars Klingbeil, has detailed its plans for the financial resources of the Climate and Transformation Fund over the next few years. This was the BMF’s response to criticism of the budget preparation letter sent out on May 19. In it, the ministries of economics, transport and research were asked to shift budget items from the core budget to the CTF, which would contradict the promised „additionality“ of the expenditure.
