A large portion of the projects favored by the Inflation Reduction Act have been postponed, some indefinitely, according to research by the Financial Times. The reasons include worsening market conditions, declining demand and high uncertainty in the US election year.

Some of the largest projects announced under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and the Chips and Science Act have been delayed by several months or years, according to the Financial Times (FT) investigation. Some even remain on hold indefinitely.
