US President Joe Biden took his time. Now, at last, he has signed the presidential orders. Based on these orders a new attempt can be made for a recognition decision by the EU to be allowed to transfer data from the EU to the USA. The EU Commission and the US government are optimistic that the new regulation would still hold up after a review by the ECJ.
