The EU-Mercosur free trade agreement is finally supposed to move forward after many years of stalemate. But a meeting of negotiators from both sides in Buenos Aires this Wednesday and Thursday has now been postponed until May. The reason: The Mercosur side, in particular, needed more time to prepare for the additional declaration on sustainability demanded by the Europeans, according to EU circles.
