EU trade policy successes have become rare, but yesterday the EU was once again able to celebrate one – at least a small one. Early in the morning, the EU Commission announced that it had finally adopted a „partnership for critical and strategic minerals“ with Australia, after negotiations for a genuine free trade agreement failed last year.
