Over the past 20 years, emissions from aviation have risen by almost 130 percent, and from shipping by 32 percent. Yet countries’ ambitions to reduce emissions in these sectors are still remarkably low. Lukas Scheid researched why and what it means for the negotiations at the World Climate Conference in Glasgow.
