The turmoil over the formation of a government since the Bundestag elections has somewhat died down. Robert Habeck has announced that sooner or later there will be friction between the SPD, the Greens and the FDP – one sticking point will be the communitisation of European debt. At the weekend, however, the soundings between the parties took a break and will only meet today for further talks.
