Taneli Lahti has been appointed by the European Commission as the new Chief Advisor for Sustainable Growth and the European Semester in the Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs (DG ECFIN). The Finn was Head of Cabinet of the former Commissioner for International Partnerships, Jutta Urpilainen, and then moved to the Directorate-General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA).
