Industry committee sharpens Critical Raw • Table.Briefings

The Industry Committee in the EU Parliament adopted the report on the Critical Raw Materials Act on Thursday. It strengthens requirements for circularity, sustainability and labor and human rights in relation to strategic raw material projects. The plenary is set to vote on the report next week.

The Industry Committee (ITRE) in the EU Parliament approved its report on the Critical Raw Materials Act on Thursday. Members of Parliament accepted the draft by rapporteur Nicola Beer (Renew) with 53 votes in favor, one against, and five abstentions. The plenary is scheduled to vote on it next week.
