Too many innovative start-ups are leaving Europe once they reach their growth phase. The European Commission now aims to change that with its new Start-up and Scale-up Strategy.

„Companies born in Europe must grow in Europe,“ said Commission Vice President Stéphane Séjourné at the launch of the EU’s new Start-up and Scale-up Strategy. The promise: „We are cutting red tape, improving access to finance, and enhancing their ability to do business across the single market.“ Commissioner Ekaterina Zakharieva added, „This strategy will enable us to transform Europe’s wealth of creativity, research, and ambition into thriving new businesses, quality jobs, and real-world impact.“
