EU Agriculture Commissioner Janusz Wojciechowski has submitted proposals to Commission President Ursula von der Leyen as to how the bureaucratic relief she has announced for farmers could look. Von der Leyen intends to present a draft before the next Agriculture Council at the end of the month, as she announced at the beginning of February in response to the farmers’ protests.
