Apple: app store must open to competition

Apple must relax its app store practices after a defeat in court. In the dispute with game developer Epic Games, US Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers ruled on Friday that the iPhone manufacturer must allow app developers to use other payment systems. The ruling is also likely to impact similar investigations by the EU Commission and the German Federal Cartel Office.
