BDI study: 860 billion needed for climate targets

According to a large-scale study, an additional €860 billion will have to be invested in Germany to achieve the climate targets for 2030. „The climate-neutral industrial country does not come for free,“ Siegfried Russwurm, President of the BDI industry association, said in Berlin on Thursday. The BDI has prepared the feasibility study over the past two years together with the consulting firm Boston Consulting Group (BCG), with feedback from dozens of experts and companies.
