Biodiversity COP: China promises more species protection

At the start of the World Conservation Conference in Kunming, China – also known as the Biodiversity COP – the host country pledged to improve the protection of its flora and fauna. China’s Vice Premier Han Zheng announced on Monday that a national strategy would be launched and biodiversity would be taken into account in all development plans for its regions.
