The Commission wants to bring forward the review of the CO2 fleet legislation and finalize it this year: „The review of the CO2 emission standards legislation will take place in the third and fourth quarter,“ said Transport Commissioner Apostolos Tzitzikostas on Wednesday when he presented the Automotive Action Plan. The review was originally planned for 2026. By law, it was supposed to happen by 31.12.2026. However, the Commission wants to stick to the 2025, 2030 and 2035 CO2 emission standards.
