Climate change: Maersk orders methanol ships

For a long time, little was heard of decarbonization plans in the shipping industry. Now the Danish shipping company Maersk has come forward and ordered eight new container ships that can run on both conventional fuel and the more climate-friendly methanol. The ships can carry 16,000 containers and sail from China to Europe and across the Pacific.
