At the congress of the German Aerospace Association (DLRK 2021), representatives from industry and research called for faster industrial application of technical innovations in aviation. Airbus CEO André Walter emphasized that support measures provided by the German government and the EU as part of the Fit for 55 package are welcomed. At the same time, however, it was necessary to move more quickly from theory to practice to gain industrial experience.
