The German government wants to significantly expand the powers of the Federal Cartel Office. The ministries involved agreed on a draft bill, according to a statement from the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate. The 11th amendment to the Act against Restraints of Competition (GWB) is to be approved by the Cabinet today and then debated in the Bundestag.
