In Brussels, the „883“ is regarded as a kind of cursed dossier. Various Council presidencies have already cut their teeth on it in vain. Now the Polish presidency is hoping for a new trilogue.

Is there a new chance for the deadlocked negotiations on the coordination of social systems? The European Parliament is currently debating whether to re-enter the trilogue procedure on the reform of Regulation 883/2004 (often referred to simply as „883“ in Brussels). According to information obtained by Table.Briefings, a decision on this could be made today at the meeting of the shadow rapporteurs.
