Digital trade: EU and Singapore conclude agreement

On 25 July 2024, Valdis Dombrovskis, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of an Economy that works for People, and Commissioner for Trade, participates to the 2nd EU-Singapore Free Trade Agreement Trade Committee Meeting with Grace Fu, Singaporean Minister for Sustainability and the Environment and Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations.

The EU and Singapore have concluded an agreement on digital trade. It is intended to facilitate cross-border data traffic and introduces binding rules for digital trade. This agreement supplements the existing free trade agreement from 2019.
