DMA: LIBE Committee to force interfaces

On Tuesday, the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) adopted its opinion on the Digital Markets Act (DMA). It aims to regulate the dominance of the major online platforms, establish fair competition and lower barriers to market entry. Ondřej Kovařík (CZ, Renew), rapporteur for the LIBE Committee and thus draftsman of the opinion, stressed that the scope of the DMA must be defined precisely.
