Double resentment in Farm to Fork Strategy debate

During the debate on the Farm to Fork Strategy in the EU Parliament on Monday, the content of the own-initiative report drawn up by the ENVI and AGRI committees almost became a side issue. Two side issues caused displeasure among MEPs, even though the report was supported by a broad majority and seen by many MEPs of different party affiliations as pointing the way forward for the agricultural sector and climate protection.
